Scam!!!! I got my root canal done at the daly city location by Ellie Shadmehr last year. Weeks after procedure, I still had pain and my so my dentist sent me back to Bay Area Endodontics to get it checked. Dr Shedmehr said it’ll take 5-6 months to heal properly which i thought was strange, but believed it at the time. The pain was always there and I would take ibprophen if it got bad. In the first week of September, the pain was so severe that I could not tolerate it! i called Bay Area Endodontics for an appt but the lady said No Appts available until end of September! I emphasized that its an emergency and I was willing to travel to a different location if need be to get it checked and she said if anything gets canceled, only then they’ll be able to see me! 😡 I went to a different Endo and she said that my toot maybe fractured and most likely due to a bad root canal procedure. she charged a consultation fee which is fine but at-least she prescribed Pain killers and Antibiotics for infection! Bay area Endo did not even bother to do that!!!!!!!!! I finallygot an appt at Bay Area Endo at their sunnyvale location maybe because someone cancelled and they did the xray and confirmed that the tooth was fractured and they’ll need to extract the tooth and do an implant which is a 9 month procedure in total. I’ll be credited the funds that i paid out of pocket for the root canal which will go towards the implant and then i’ll have to pay the remainder (in thousands). Their Clinic and their doctor did a faulty procedure which caused on and off pain and sensitivity for more than a year!!! I’ll be losing my tooth due to a bad root canal procedure and then their manager who is representing their clinic says “Oh we will not be treating you at this clinic” when i said i will not be paying a penny out of pocket for a failed procedure on their end! This clinic needs to be audited!!!!! I’ll seek legal action and ensure they they do not do injustice with anyone else!

I had an emergency situation and my dentist referred me to Bay Area Endodontics to get a root canal. It was a Monday in early May and I saw Dr Tandon in the Los Gatos office. Hearing people had bad experiences after the procedure I was very concerned and ask Dr Tandon a lot of questions. She answered all of my questions patiently and explained the process in detail, her assistant Ina was so warm and helpful to made sure I was comfortable. The procedure was painless, but my infection was pretty severe and needed another visit to have the root canals fully cleaned. The entire procedure went smoothly, it has been 4 months since and I fully recovered without any issue. I had very good experience with Dr Tandon and the staffs there in the office. They are very professional and helpful and I highly recommend them if you need a root canal done.
