Course Description

The pendulum seems to have swung from implants back to traditional root canal therapy in recent years. But should that be the case? Are implants better than endodontics or does endodontics have a better outcome? This seems to be the constant question that general dentists are having to deal with daily. What role can endodontists have in this decision process and what if any are the benefits of having endodontists place implants?

There are several dozen different types of implant systems out on the market place. What are the differences between them and does the outcome of success depend on which implant system is used? What are the benefits of using Ankylos implants and should restorative options play a role in which implant system you should use?

All these questions and many more will be answered in this course.
