Service when I got there was very friendly and we signed many consent forms than I’m unfamiliar with.. including a form about Cone Beam CT that will be performed if the Endodontist sees necessary. No service was ultimately provided for my father as a new problem was identified (wisdom tooth needed to be extracted) and we were referred to an OMFS/general dentist. Apparently a CBCT was performed first thing when my father stepped into the back unknowing what was happening as he doesn’t speak English. I was not allowed to be with him during xrays, but only after. We were charged $150 for a cone beam CT out of pocket (that was deemed required) + $70 for the visit. During the process of finding an OMFS/general dentist, all the dentists we spoke with were shocked to hear a CBCT was required (including another endodontists), and the amount of unnecessary radiation that was exposed to someone with a history of cancer. When finally one dentist asked for Bay Area Endodontics to send all the images over to them, it seems the CBCT and xrays they took weren’t even usable. The CBCT captures only a specific section of the mouth and not the area that needed service. The xray also didn’t capture the right area. They also didn’t take a PA of the mouth, which is the image every dentist was requesting... Confused on how a proper and confident diagnosis was made by the endodontist here without actually seeing the area on the radiographs? One dentist we spoke with called this activity a scam and asked us to report the incidence to Delta Care insurance. Would warn patients going into the office.. if this happened unnecessarily for us, is everyone going into the office getting charged $150+ for CBCT and other unnecessary services? Everyone seemed so friendly there.. I wouldn't have realized this fraud was happening until outside dentists consulted.

Schedule a root canal in San Carlos. Dr. Victor, Mona, and the staff made the procedure stress free. Dr. Victor explains every step and works with precision. I’ve already told my colleague that needs a root canal about the treatment. The reviews are spot on.
